    Believed to be built to seal the gateway to hell itself. The castle wasn't built to keep people out, but to keep something in. There is a pit so deep that you can't see the bottom. Locals reported that they could see things come out of it at night, these winged half human, half demon creatures. They quickly built a chapel on top of the hole to seal it. Inside they painted a mural of a left handed centaur, which back then was basically a symbol of demons to keep them a bay. It's only an hour from Prague. You can do tours where they take you inside the chapel and talk about the monsters beneath your feet.
