Alnwick Castle
attractionAlnwick NE66 1NQ, United Kingdom
Venture down into England, take the train and a bus to this town called Alnwick, where Alnwick Castle is, which was the filming location for Hogwarts Castle in the first two Harry Potter films. It was also used as filming location for a bunch of other movies and TV shows. It's a really cool place to visit. So that's actually a working castle. You can view some of the state rooms. It's like a museum. They offer free tours, and one of them is focused on the films and TV shows that have been filmed here. If you are a Harry Potter fan, they do broomstick lessons on the grounds, which is really fun. You do have to get a special ticket for that, and they do prioritize giving them to children, but you know, it's still fun to watch even if you don't get a ticket.
