    The ultimate hike in Madeira, considered one of the best in the world. A shorter, beautiful section is currently open, with full reopening expected in April after wildfire damage. Best hiked at sunset for a quieter, more dramatic experience. Check the Pico do Arieiro webcam before going to avoid clouds.
