Built by the governing family of Milan called Sforza in the fifteenth century, the castle was used throughout the century as a fortress and a ducal residence. Nowadays, Sforza Castle hosts several museums like Pinacoteca del Castello Sportschesco, Il Museo d'Arthantica, and many more. It also hosts several cultural events and art expositions. The castle is surrounded by the gorgeous Parco Sempione, the largest park in the city.

One of the world's oldest covered shopping malls, architecturally stunning, easily making it one of Milan's most beautiful places. Inside, you can discover high end fashion boutiques, jewelry stores, restaurants, bars, and even some of Milan's most ancient bookshops, like Boca and Rizzoli. There is a superstitious ritual you should do if you're looking for a bit of luck: take three turns with your right heel on the ball's testicles of the bull mosaic.

Milan's most important monument and the world's largest gothic cathedral, worth visiting both inside and on top. Purchase the Duomo Terraces Museum ticket, which includes access to everything. The price varies depending on whether you choose the stairs or the lift for the terraces. The view from the terraces is the best in the city.

attractionV. Filodrammatici, 2, 20121 Milano MI, Italy
One of the most prestigious theaters in the world. Since its opening in seventeen seventy eight, this historic venue hosted many famous artists and composers like Verdi, Puccini, and Wagner. During the day, you can visit the theater and sit inside from the third level boxes. The interior is nothing short of amazing, and I highly recommend a visit. But if you have the opportunity, catching a live performance, whether it's a play or ballet, is an even more incredible experience.
