    Take a day trip to Kamakura from Tokyo. Instead of going directly from Tokyo Station, take the train to Ofuna Station, then take the Shonan Monorail to Enoshima. From Enoshima, take the Enoden Line to Kamakura. This route offers scenic views of the countryside and the coast, and you might even see Mount Fuji on a clear day. The Enoden Line is less crowded when boarding in Enoshima.
