    UNESCO site dating back to the 13th century, 30 minutes from Krakow. Guided tour is around 2.5 hours, covers 3.5km, and includes 800 steps. St Kinga’s Chapel is still used today for weddings and masses. Air quality is known to be some of the purest in the world. Temperature is about 15–17°C.

    The first part of the tour included walking past the kitchens, blocks where over 1,000 people stayed, and seeing a fraction of the victims' belongings. This section also included the death wall where prisoners were shot or hung, and the gas chambers.
