Highly, highly recommend staying at Raffles. The most affordable raffles you'll get and it truly is a 10 star experience. Service and hospitality is some of the best I've had in my life. The whole establishment down to your room was stunning. You will not find a better pool and their Asian breakfast and fruit bar is divine.
